Community Beautification Initiative
Our neighborhood deserves a place that feels safe, welcoming, and cared for. The empty lot near our alley has the potential to become exactly that—a small green space where people can breathe, connect, and feel proud of the community we’re building together.
Right now, the alley carries challenges we all see: scattered trash, unsafe activity, and a sense that the space has been forgotten. But we believe this block is worth investing in.
Our community is worth investing in.

Impact
A thoughtfully designed green space can help us:
-
Create a safer, cleaner environment for residents, visitors, and businesses
-
Reduce litter and improve visibility in the alley
-
Support the birds and wildlife already thriving in our area
-
Offer a shared space for outdoor yoga, meditation, and community gatherings
-
Provide opportunities for small businesses to host pop‑ups, music, and seasonal events
-
Strengthen the sense of connection and care on our block
The Whole Community
This project is about more than plants and paint
It’s about reclaiming a space that belongs to all of us.
It’s about showing that when a community comes together, even a forgotten corner can become a place of beauty, safety, and belonging.
