March-May 2026
Vision: Dedicate yourself to a Lifestyle that Empowers your Truth, Voices your Gifts, and Encourages Wholeness
The Heart Center for Awakening Yoga Teacher Training is a 200-hour journey of intentional study, hands-on learning, and confidence building practices. We will dive into history, Philosophy and “the Why”, as well as learn the Art of Facilitation which is valuable in all aspects of life. In this unique container you will be introduced to techniques that deepen your own practice, and techniques for sharing this with others.
If you have ever felt the glimpse of an Awakening from Yoga and have the slightest desire to Share it with others – I invite you to come to this training. The world needs you! Your authentic expression along with your unique journey is what makes your representation important. While we are learning how to guide Humans in Yoga, this skill will transfer beyond the studio. The ability to hold each other in our highest light is like Ram Das’s quote “We’re all just walking each other home” - This level of Healing in Community is felt on the Soul Level. This opportunity to be held, seen, and to grow in a community is one you won’t want to miss.

LEAD TEACHER

Kristina Imperial, also known as Ki, is a RYT500; with over 8 years of teaching experience. She completed her first 200hr YTT in NYC under the training of Larissa Schiano Gonzalez whose teachings are built under the lineage of Iyengar, Baptiste, Cyndi Lee, and more. She completed her 300hr YTT in 2024 with RASA Yoga under Sianna Sherman, amplifying her Love for mysticism and weaving in the unseen worlds. In 2017 she was introduced to Chakras in Rishikesh, India, where she experienced the Quantum Field influence on her practice, further solidifying her passion. In the past 4 years, she has been practicing Bhakti Yoga seasonally, as well as holding space for various types of ceremony and sharing circles. In her dreams, she wishes for a world that is deeply connected to their Hearts and encouraging for the wholeness of a Being.
Before fully taking the vocation of Yoga teacher, she worked as a chemist full time; & that scientific approach influences many of her studies. Ki continues to practice other modalities of movement such as Qi Gong and Butoh which always makes small appearances in her classes. She began in the yoga room as an assistant using hands-on assists to help students with form and alignment. Now, she continues to study the body and different massage forms such as Craniosacral Fascia Therapy.
Kristina is a first generation Filipino-American, born & raised in NYC with her Sun in Gemini & her Ascendant & Moon in Sagittarius. She is grateful for the PNW in showing her the culture of Rain and the wisdom of Water. She loves guiding groups into connection through playfulness and creativity.

GUEST TEACHERS
Joining Us for the study of Anatomy is Dr.Lauren Blackham.
Dr. Lauren Blackham dove deeply into the study of yoga in her early 20's after the death of her brother. She started with a 200-hour power vinyasa yoga training at Yoga To The People in Berkeley, CA in 2011. An alignment-focused module of the training captured her attention- she found the precision to be an avenue to still the mind and spread awareness throughout the body. This led her to complete a second 200-hour training with Yoga Works in San Francisco, and eventually to undergo an Iyengar Yoga apprenticeship with Heather Haxo-Phillips at Adeline Yoga in Berkeley. Lauren passed the certification exams to become a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher in 2016. She spent several years teaching yoga full-time in the Bay Area before transitioning to a naturopathic medical program in Portland. Since 2018, she has been practicing as a naturopathic primary care physician in Seattle, WA. She has most recently been exploring Buddhist meditation and cultivation and hosted a monthly BIPOC meditation sit along with yoga teacher Ki Imperial.

Joining Us for Mantra, Pre and Post Natal Yoga Teachings is
Amanda Granberg
After years of personal practice witnessing the transformative power of embodied daily yoga rituals, Amanda was led on a soul quest to learn how to guide sacred mind–heart–body connection practices in community. An eternal seeker of knowledge, her love of music and mantra deepened during her yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, where she experienced her first Kirtan and witnessed fellow devotees ecstatically dancing in devotion.
What began as a personal healing practice through sound and voice reclamation has blossomed into a path of Bhakti—the yoga of love and devotion—that she is honored to share with others. Through the repetition of sacred mantra, Amanda invites participants into harmonic union with the Divine, creating space to remember and embody their true essence.
Since 2019, Amanda has been teaching Hatha, Prenatal and Postpartum Yoga, interweaving breathwork, mantra, and meditation into each practice. Deepening her studies as a birth and postpartum doula, she is honored to support families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of life. Rooted in somatic awareness and respectful biomechanics, her teaching centers safety, nervous system regulation, and trust in the body’s innate wisdom. Amanda believes that when parents are deeply supported through pregnancy and beyond, we lay the groundwork for more resilient families and a more compassionate culture.
